Benefits of Institutional Participation in the Connecticut ACE Women's Network (CTAWN):

  • Join other Connecticut colleges and universities who actively support the advancement of women in higher education;
  • Appoint a woman leader from your institution to the statewide council of Institutional Representatives. Your school's representative will receive information regarding Connecticut and national ACE initiatives from the Office of Inclusive Excellence to help guide your campus programs and connect your institutional representative and other women on your campus with leaders nationally;
  • Connect to a network which distributes to institutional representatives information about ACE network activities at various institutions;
  • Provide opportunities for professional development, leadership training and networking for women, including participation in the annual statewide conferences, which features state and regional women leaders in higher education;
